Get to know Bobby Zinkan & Chad Labelle, the Co-Head Instructors for the Spring 3 on 3 Program!

Bobby Zinkan and I (Chad Labelle) have known each other since we were around 10 years old. We got to know each other through the game of hockey and quickly became best friends. We lived in the same neighbourhood growing up, would carpool to practice, and our families became close friends as well. We ended up playing together all throughout our childhood while our parents coached and supported us. We both had a true passion for the game of hockey and were always putting in the extra work to get us to that next level.
We eventually parted ways to go pursue our WHL careers where Bobby went to the Swift Current Broncos and I went to the Medicine Hat Tigers. After our WHL careers, we were lucky enough to get into the same University and play together again on the Men’s Varsity Hockey team while getting our university degrees. During our last year of hockey and school, we started bouncing ideas off each other about what we were going to do with our lives after we graduated and this is when we decided to start a beverage company together once we moved back home to beautiful Calgary, Alberta!

We have learned a lot throughout our lives and are very passionate about becoming the best people we can be and we look forward to coaching and passing on all our life lessons to the players involved with Tucker Hockey. We are extremely excited to coach together for Tucker Hockey and we look forward to the Spring 3 on 3 program!

Editor’s Note:
Bobby and Chad have been great additions to the Tucker Hockey Team! Together they will run our 2024 Spring 3 on 3 Programs as well as many of our Summer Development Programs. They are lifelong friends who have a unique story and passion for the game of hockey! Both Bobby & Chad played at the Major Junior and University Varsity Hockey levels. They bring strong hockey technical skills and knowledge to the Tucker Hockey Team. Both are very pleasant and responsible young men. They continue to hone their leadership skills and knowledge of Tucker Hockey on ice curriculums while embracing the Tucker Hockey Way. In a couple words both Bobby and Chad are “Good People”! They have a very bright future being on ice instructors on the Tucker Hockey Team. Look forward guys to spending lots of time together on the ice in the future!
