Jaden Dao

Published June 16, 2022

Brody, a past participant of Tucker Hockey, generously paid forward a free Tucker Hockey program to a deserving player. The program was awarded to Brody a year ago through our Danny Cammack Memorial Award, but Brody’s family has since relocated and have decided to pay the free program forward.

About Jaden:

  • What do you like about the sport of hockey?

I like how it teaches me a lot of new things about the game, how’s it’s played and make new friends. It gives me confidence in myself and help me push myself to succeed

  • When and how did you initially get involved with Tucker Hockey?

I just got involved this year as my mom learned about the spring program through other hockey parents that told her this program was super successful to help me improve my skills in hockey.

  • How has hockey influenced or positively affected your life?

Hockey helps me improve my motor skills in other sports and gives me that confidence in life. I am able to meet friends outside of school that relates to what I love to do as a hobby. It’s helped me experience what we do as a team to help each other succeed and that it’s not the importance of winning but how hard we tried and should feel good about that. This helps me in my everyday life as well.

Editor’s Note:

Jaden, we have enjoyed coaching you this Spring! Keep working on the fundamentals of the game especially skating. We like it when you smile on the ice!

Keep watching, listening, and working hard and you will do well. Remember – head up, knees bent and stick on the ice! See you at the rink this Summer! Take Care.
