2020 Summer (August) Program Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately, due to the global COVID -19 pandemic, effective immediately, we have had to cancel all of our Summer (August) Programs.

This is a very concerning time for everyone. Personally, I have been preoccupied with protecting my business. I have poured my heart and soul into Tucker Hockey for the last 20 years. It’s my life and my passion. As well, I want to continue to share my hockey expertise and love of the game with Calgarians for years to come.

After many hours of deliberation and trying to figure out the best way to deal with our summer programs being cancelled, here is Tucker Hockey’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy:

A credit for the amount paid, for your 2020 Summer (August) program(s), will be placed on your Tucker Hockey account. The credit code will be issued to you via email by July 31st, 2020. The credit can be used towards future Tucker Hockey group programs for the next 2 years. The program credits expire on September 30th, 2022; this will provide you with maximum flexibility to replace your cancelled program with another Tucker Hockey program. We hope to run three weeks of programs in early September which will start up before school and the hockey season begins this year.

Options for using your credit:

  • 2020 September or Fall Programs
  • 2021 Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall Programs
  • 2022 Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall Programs

The credit code that you will receive is to be used as payment for your next selected program. In the event that there is still a remaining balance after you’ve purchased your program, the said balance will remain on file as a credit for a later date. Again, the credit is valid until September 30th, 2022. Furthermore, your last opportunity to use your credit is for Fall 2022 programs.

If you defer your 2020 Summer (August) Program registration to 2021 or 2022 Summer Programs – we will “Guarantee the Same Price $$$ from Summer 2020” for similar programs offered.

Process:

  • Register on our website for your replacement program.
  • Indicate in the comments field of your registration form:

               2020 Summer (August) Replacement Program

  • Use your credit code towards paying for the replacement program(s) of your choice.
  • Our Administrative Assistant, Candace, will email program confirmation to you and in the case that you still have a credit remaining this will be communicated via email as well.

Note: Due to the volume of credits needed to be processed, we ask for your patience as we work through each registration. We will be using your email address on file with us. If this is no longer your current email address, please send your updated email address asap to programs@tuckerhockey.com. To ensure that we prioritize updating your email address, place in the subject line of your email – Email Address Update for Summer (August) 2020.

Tucker Hockey Initiative: – Helping Parents & Players With Hockey Education

  • We are now working on offering a hockey service to help you improve your hockey education and map out your child’s hockey journey. This will support your child in the short term, help feel like he or she has more control over their hockey, be better prepared and look forward to the highly anticipated hockey season. You will be able to use your credit on file towards this new hockey service. Additional details will be published later in May.
  • Furthermore, Coach Brian is working diligently on developing an online program for fitness and stickhandling, which will be released on Instagram. In addition, clients who are registered for email blasts will receive a comprehensive workout and development plan with our spring / summer bulletins.
