To Our Loyal Tucker Hockey Participants, Parents and Hockey Friends;

GENERAL COMMENTS:

We hope everyone is keeping safe and making educated decisions. Today’s way of living is a bigchange and requiresadaption for everyone young to old.

We need to continue to respect the power of this virus and listento the health authorities who are doing their very best to educate and protect us all. We must do our part and stay home. Please take this seriously and practice social distancing, keep a minimum of 6 feet away from each other.

Also, we need to respectthe future of hockey.  We all love the game and miss it dearly! Teamwork is of paramount importance as we try to navigate the future.

Yes, it’s stressful, trying to protect our physical and mental health while also taking care of our financial demands too. This is a very concerning time for me, Coach Rex. I am preoccupied with protecting my small hockey business. I have poured my heart and soul into Tucker Hockey for the last 20 years. It’s my life and my passion!

Folks, we are doing our very best to be proactive and inform you with details regarding our upcoming programs.

2020 SPRING PROGRAMS – POSTPONEMENTS:

We regret to announce that we will have to postpone our Spring Programs for the month of April. Unfortunately, there will not be any on ice sessions in April. We will keep you apprised of the situation as it develops. If we are able to start programs in May, here is what the schedule will look like.

  1. All Adult (10 session / week programs) will be reduced to 8 session / week programs.
  2. All Minor (8 session / week programs) will still remain at 8 session / week programs.
  3. All 3 on 3 (16 session / twice a week programs) will remain at 8 – week programs.
  4. The earliest start date will be May 2nd – for Saturday Programs.
  5. The latest end date will be June 29th – for Monday Programs.

If you are short any sessions because of later start or finish dates, we will place a prorated credit amount on file for you for those missed sessions. You will be notified in May of the credit amount on file, and your credit code. Your credit will be honoured by Tucker Hockey to apply to any future programs until December 31st, 2021, for your convenience.

An additional information bulletin of our revised Spring program schedule will be sent out on Monday, April 20th, 2020.

Note: Until the Alberta Government and Health authorities give the green light, our local arenas will remain closed. In the event that the green light is given, it may take arenas a week or so to get the facility running again and in some cases the ice back up. We are not attempting to give false hope but trying to be optimistic during an uncertain time.

2020 SUMMER PROGRAM POLICIES & DIRECTIVES:

At this time, we are still planning and organizing our Summer Adult and Minor group programs On line registrations are being accepted at tuckerhockey.com. However, this does hinge on arenas being opened. We are optimist that the proactive and vigilant government and health care measures being taken now will result in us returning to life as we know by the latest this summer. We anticipate a busy summer period when things hopefully improve and get back to normal.

Summer Programs:

1 on 1 Coaching Programs start – up – Monday July 27th, 2020

Minor Group Programs start – up – Tuesday August 4th, 2020

Adult Group Programs start – up – Monday August 17th, 2020
