This award is named the “Brad Memorial”. It is in memory of Bradley Mersereau, who was an avid participant in Tucker Hockey Adult Programs. Brad never represented himself as a great skater, or, for that matter, a good hockey player. He just loved getting out and being active. He always found a healthy balance between family, work and the enjoyment of hockey. He was a “true friend” and “hockey enthusiast”.

- What do you like about the sport of hockey?
The things I most like about the sport of hockey are it is extremely fun, great exercise and a great way to meet new people! Its pretty hard not to love hockey.
- When and how did you initially get involved with Tucker Hockey?
I started on my hockey journey about 9 years ago! I was a Bambi on ice and without Rex and his great group I do not believe I would be enjoying the game at my current level.
- How has hockey influenced or positively affected your life?
Hockey has been life changing for me! Right from friends to emotional and physical health benefits, hockey has had nothing but a positive influence in my life. Hockey is enjoyable at all levels but like anything the better you are at it the more fun it is!
I would like to thank Rex and Tucker Hockey for selecting me for this award and if I was able to pick someone for an award it would be Rex! Without Tucker hockey so many people would not be playing this amazing sport! Thank you, Tucker Hockey!
